I probably will. I assume the new version fixes a lot of the skips that I used in my PB run. I find those skips to be fun so ill probably play the old version for a bit longer to get a "perfect" run
This is sick!! It feels, sounds and controls great. Sometimes I wished the camera was farther up to see more of the levels and not have to relly at all on memory, but that's a very small nitpick.
I made a quick video on some interesting routes + my PB run (a simple sub 80). A sub 60 is doable and if college allows for it, I think I will go for it.
As a suggestions, I think it would be great if you could add a replay view when the player beats a level where it shows all the attempts at once similar to super meat boy.
This video illustrates what I mean in case you are not familiar with super meat boy:
very fun! satisfying to play and crispy level design throughout. my main criticism would be that the difficulty curve is a bit funky (lilypads in particular felt like quite a spike). i'm unsure if this is a bug or not, but sometimes i was able to jump off the lava(? the stuff that kills you when you touch it that you normally have to jump over) with a precisely timed boost
The game feels great to play. The music/sound is phenomenal. The one big criticism I have is that every time I beat a level, I was instantly thrown into the next one. I couldn't really be satisfied with beating a level because I was instantly given another challenge.

I made 155 sec. in rush
I just got a 153.2
Super cool game, I really the VFX and the overall movement.
Yeah!!
You can wall bounce or something if you dash after hitting a wall. Saved myself on lilypads by spamming space
actually, all it has to be is a jerky movement, so you just have to wiggle
I think I just got wr? Sub 60 when?
The Run
Edit From now on all progress will be in this thread, sorry for starting another one
Woah that’s crazy, seems like the most important part getting a sub 70 is not messing up on the longer levels
Indeed. I wanna get a sub 60. Should be doable
oh wow, congrats ;)
I choked here and there. Sub 60 is gonna happen
New personal best and new WR
Sub 60 i think is only possible on the old version, i think. Will you start speedrunning with the fixed version? Also congrats.

It's technically impossible to get it done in less than a minute
nah it's def possible
true, I added up all my best times and got 59.92 secs
Id have to check when i get home from uni, but i think I have around a 56-57
Letting you know that the game now has a speedrun dot com page for you to submit your runs on! :>
Great game! Very challenging and even infuriating. Definitely worth playing if you want a challenge.
i turned off screen shake. the screen still shakes T_T
idk why everyone is saying lily pads was hard, kinda easy ngl
got stuck at lilypads too but I enjoyed it a lot ! Nice work !

we need a button to skip lilypads!
good game, but the lilypads level is way too hard
You know you're bad when the game starts lagging due to there being to many x lol
gud game brake dlc when
great game!!!
awesome game!
love the mechanics and the level design
great job!!!!
i downloaded the game and tried rush mode but after I beat the first level, it just crashes with error:
WARNING: 'Vector2.clamped()' is deprecated because it has been renamed to 'limit_length'.
at: clamped (core/math/vector2.cpp:131)
otherwise a great game
It should be fixed now. Would you mind trying again?
Excellent work! Super easy to get started playing and I got sucked in immediately
if you download game and run rush mode, the game close (sorry my
english)
this is hell. 10/10

Hi would you be interested in selling or sharing the source code for learning purposes?
It's really a fun game, well done :D
There's juste something that's bugging me : I noticed that you're using Godot Engine, and yet there isn't a Mac export :/
I tried but apparently you need a mac to export for it.
indirect call to null...
this could work really well on other platforms
really fun

I lost so many times on lilypad that the game starting lagging 💀
i gave up on lillypads. let us skip lillypads. no other levels, just lillypads
Really fun, and original game design so fun, but lilypads is really difficult, i like the concept thought of progession.
smooth like butter controls, challenging yet fun gameplay. Still cant beat those lilypads
Nice game!
Damn those lily pads tho.
Have you considered porting this game to Mobile? It could be a total banger!
Loved the game! except lily pads.
game is very fire, those lilypads took me at least 100 tries xD
uh...
Does opening the game in an incognito tab fix it?
incognito is disabled on my chromebook
It fixes the error for me (Chrome OSX)
Just the right amount of jumping and vibration makes the movement of the car lively and agile
Using retro pixel art style, simple colors, and 8 bit sound effects, it perfectly inherits the aesthetic experience of classical (?) video games
Crash, car marks, death close-ups are also dramatic, and the challenge is very fulfilling
I love your deciate game
251.51
Great game! Was this inspired by "Oops! No Brakes" by TheJaspel?
